Willowbend Hotel

I have been traveling around the world by bicycle last 15 years nonstop. In December, my route in Canada brought me to this small town. I was planning to stay for just one night and then move on, but a snowstorm made that impossible and stayed 4 night. Looking back, I’m grateful that my journey paused here and that I had the chance to rest in this hotel. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the rooms are spotless, and the hotel owners are exceptionally hospitable. The price is more than reasonable. I have been traveling across Canada for the past five months, and honestly, I have not experienced such genuine hospitality in any other hotel. If you ever pass through this town, staying at this hotel is worthwhile just to meet this family and spend time talking with them. My sincere thanks to the entire family.

We had a very pleasurable stay at the Willowbend Hotel . The hotel is well priced and is located close to downtown and several amenities. The hosts were wonderful…. very friendly and doing a great job at making improvements in their new business venture . Our room was comfortable with a cozy bed, small refrigerator, microwave and new Roku television. We appreciated our request at being able to check out a little bit later as we had slept in ! The self serve breakfast is welcome and adequate for a good start to the day . We will definitely stay again at the Willowbend Hotel . The owner / hosts are such a wonderful drawing card !

From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect. Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and staff that genuinely care. You can feel the quality in every corner. Worth every penny — easily the best hotel around!

I stumbled across this place after another hotel didn't have any space, and I sure lucked out!! The Willowbrook is right downtown next to all the great shops! It's very very clean and clearly has been updated! The bed was a dream to sleep on. Normally I find hotel beds too firm! It was very quiet and they have a very nice lobby. They also have some vending machines and a sitting area that kind of looked like they might have had a continental breakfast at one point. All basic amenities are there, including coffee in the room. I stayed in a single room, but it was huge. For just over $100 and close to Cypress Hills it's perfect! I felt very at home, plus I was able to get a late supper as well. I loved all the shops in the town too. Beautiful area.

Great place to stay. Great owners, always ensuring you have everything you need, a pleasure to talk to. Absolutely spotless. Perfect location close to downtown and tourist attractions, all within minutes walking distance. Will definitely stay here again.

Me and my husband came fr a trip and stayed at this place. Vera at the front desk is a sweetheart she took care of all our needs and provided the best service. The rooms were clean and even during our stay regular cleaning maintenance was done. Will definitely recommend this play for stayyy!!

We were traveling from Vancouver to Toronto and got tired on the road, so we decided to stop for the night in the small town of Maple Creek. We’re so glad we chose this hotel! It’s very centrally located — right in downtown — which made it easy for us to explore and enjoy dinner next door. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service felt warm and home-like. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We also appreciated the nice coffee station in the lobby, the convenient laundry machines, and the fact that every room includes a microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. Overall, we were very impressed — especially for a small-town hotel. Great value and excellent stay!
